Overview

The Legal Technology Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and expertise in the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of legal technology solutions. This role involves collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of technology tools and systems within the firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and configuration of legal technology solutions, such as document management systems, e-discovery platforms, and legal research databases
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for legal technology tools and systems
• Collaborate with attorneys and paralegals to identify and address technology needs and challenges
• Conduct training sessions and create user guides to educate attorneys and staff on the effective use of legal technology tools
• Assist in the testing and evaluation of new legal technology products and enhancements
• Monitor and analyze the performance of legal technology systems and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure the security and integrity of legal technology systems and data
• Stay updated on emerging legal technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on the firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal technology or a related field
• Strong knowledge of legal technology tools and systems, including document management systems, e-discovery platforms, and legal research databases
• Familiarity with legal processes and terminology
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below in alpha order and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

Boston, Chicago, & Washington, D.C. : $78,000 - $116,000

New York: $82,000 - $122,000

San Francisco & Silicon Valley: $85,500 - $128,000

 

 

 

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
