Overview

The Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and guests of the firm. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist and address the needs of guests. The Guest Services Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, providing information, directions, and assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Provide accurate and timely information about the firm, including directions, services, and amenities
  • Assist with visitor registration and issue visitor badges
  • Assist with proper administration of security badge access and audits
  • Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate individuals or departments
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Collaborate to monitor and maintain visitor logs and records
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, escalating as necessary
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth visitor experiences, including scheduling meetings and coordinating access to facilities
  • Conference and meeting room set-ups using technology to plan and coordinate
  • Restocking of pantry supplies across multiple floors
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or receptionist role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds and able to move freely within the workplace.

 

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Compensation and Total Rewards Package

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

  • Washington, DC: 48,100 - 69,850

 

 

 

Working Conditions

This position requires on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support special events or accommodate guest needs
