Overview

The Revenue Compliance Coordinator supports the Firm’s Revenue functions by assisting in the review, summarization, monitoring, and the dissemination of revenue information contained in Outside Counsel Guidelines, engagement letters, and other sources.  Maintains and updates databases used in connection with client terms and assists in the reporting of those terms, departmental projects and Firm initiatives that impact Revenue.

Responsibilities

Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCGs) and engagement letters:

  • Monitors and tracks status of OCGs through acceptance of terms;
  • Prepares summary of terms that impact Revenue;
  • Prepares client specific instructions for timekeepers on the requirements to ensure time entries are compliant with the guidelines;
  • Assists in the dissemination of revenue terms to all affected parties, including Revenue staff, Billing and Responsible Partners, timekeepers, and other groups as needed.
  • Maintains current and future databases with all relevant information, including the Firm’s time capture program, guidelines tool, time and time and billing system.

 

 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participates in firm-wide and departmental projects and initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel to other offices may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or finance preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a professional services environment using time and billing software such as 3E, Elite Enterpise or Aderant.
  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Superior customer service and a demonstrated ability to work in challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, including advanced features such as pivot tables, filtering, graphs, formulas, and macros.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint software.
  • Self directed with a strong work ethic; capable of working independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work outside of established business hours and adjust personal schedule to meet deadlines is required.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

  • Boston: $63,700 - $92,350

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
