Overview

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the recruiting team with a broad range of recruiting, project management, evaluation and analysis, communications, and administrative tasks. These tasks may include, but are not limited to business support recruiting, requisition management, new hire communications, onboarding, training and offboarding.

Responsibilities

Recruiting, Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Recruiting responsibilities include education around firm hiring best practices, assisting with job postings, offer preparation, initiating and monitoring background checks, tracking new hire data and managing onboarding activities.
  • Ensure hiring managers and new joiners receive appropriate communications around firm processes to ensure seamless integration.
  • Present firm overview deck to new hires.
  • Maintain the firm’s agency database. Ensure agreements are valid and up to date. Track and update agreement information, as necessary.
  • Facilitate firm’s program-paralegal hiring; manage job postings, ATS data, offer letters and onboarding.
  • Serve as backup to HR Coordinators for employee exit process; offboarding communications and exit interviews.

Program Management

  • Assist with the planning, coordination, implementation, and maintenance of firm intern/co-op program.
  • Partner with university contacts to facilitate job postings, review student applications, manage interview coordination and offer processing.
  • Maintain intern/co-op new hire trackers, onboarding tasks and communications to managers and incoming students.
  • In partnership with Manager of Talent Acquisition, develop enrichment program calendar, schedule student programming sessions, confirm speakers, book conference rooms/Zoom links and maintain appropriate project plans.
  • Project manage firm-sponsored recruiting events (i.e. job fairs and on-site career days).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one to three years of hands-on work experience in a human resources position, preferably in a professional services environment. A minimum of one year of recruiting or HR experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects through full lifecycle while meeting deadlines, meeting stakeholder expectations and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to analyze information, assess issues and make clear and relevant recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a close team environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, listen, collaborate, and influence others.
  • Service-oriented approach: flexible, proactive management of expectations, unflappable in the face of change. Ability to think strategically and systemically (i.e., "connect the dots")’
  • Organization and project management experience, with ability to adapt to changing priorities and produce quality deliverables on time.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Experience with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS) is a plus.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

Boston: $63,700 - $92,350

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.

 

This is a non-exempt position.  Incumbent is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, and may be required to work overtime, as needed.
