Overview

The Senior Revenue Compliance Coordinator supports the Firm's Revenue compliance functions by performing advanced review, analysis, monitoring, and dissemination of revenue information contained in Outside Counsel Guidelines, engagement letters, and other sources. This role serves as a subject matter expert on OCG interpretation and revenue compliance matters, and maintains databases used in connection with client terms. The Senior Revenue Compliance Coordinator also contributes to departmental projects and Firm initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Performs advanced review and analysis of OCGs, ensuring timely and accurate postings of revenue related terms.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure all terms are captured.
  • Facilitates the dissemination of revenue terms to all affected parties, including Revenue staff, Billing and Responsible Partners, timekeepers, and other groups as needed.
  • Maintains database integrity and contributes to system enhancement initiatives for all relevant platforms, including the Firm's time capture program, guidelines tool, client/matter intake tools, and time and billing system.
  • Develops and conduct training sessions on the Firm’s guidelines tool and Best Practices for time entry trainings.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvements and recommends solutions to enhance department efficiency.
  • May supervise and/or provide work direction to other members of the Revenue Compliance team.
  • Participates in firm-wide and departmental projects and initiatives impacting Revenue.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a professional services environment using time and billing software such as 3E, Elite Enterprise, or Aderant.
  • Prior experience with interpreting client guidelines required.
  • Must be a team player with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Superior customer service and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Self-directed with a strong work ethic; capable of working independently with minimal supervision and exercising sound judgment.
  • Proven proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint software; ability to train others on systems.
  • Ability to work outside of established business hours and adjust personal schedule to meet deadlines is required.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

  • Boston: $77,000 - $117,450

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
