Overview

The Practice Development Experience Analyst (PDEA) will support the Asset Management practice in the tracking, analysis, organization and governance of the practice group’s experience initiatives. The PDEA will support efforts to identify, retain and share matter and client experience within the Practice Development Business Support Team and asset management practice to provide excellent legal services to our clients. The PDEA will also identify processes for enhanced internal experience tracking, develop and maintain best practices for tracking experience and have a role in contributing to external rankings, marketing content and league tables.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, retain and share experience for the Asset Management practice.
  • Work with the Practice Development Manager (PDM) and other practice development team members to identify experience trends and drive experience tracking initiatives that directly align with the Asset Management practice group’s strategic priorities.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity of practice specific work data across the organization by maintaining the internal experience databases as well as other knowledge management repositories.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders to clarify experience details as needed.
  • Proactively review data regularly for inconsistencies and gaps to be remediated, report on and troubleshoot issues related to experience tracking.
  • Provide support in responding to ranking and award submissions (i.e., league tables), including identifying appropriate work experience to support each request.
  • Provide support in maintaining asset management practice websites with current experience.
  • Identify and collaborate on best practices for using various work experience data with the Practice Development Business Support team and Knowledge Management team.
  • Proactively research and collect data to support tracking of experience.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • An undergraduate degree. A minimum of 1 year work experience preferred.
  • A background in business or equivalent experience is desirable. Familiarity with the asset management industry is a plus.
  • Strong project management, judgment, critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner, take ownership of tasks and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, and take initiative.

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

Boston: 60,500- 87,750

 

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
