Overview

 

The AI and Innovation Training Analyst advances the firm’s integration of artificial intelligence and legal technology by designing and delivering engaging in-person and virtual training, and producing high-quality materials such as videos, e-learning modules, and practical resources. Reporting to the AI and Innovation Training Manager, this position collaborates with Practice Innovation and Knowledge Management attorneys and Legal Technology Leads to translate complex technology into accessible training experiences, supporting confident adoption of AI-powered tools across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training on AI tools, knowledge management systems, and legal technology to attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals firmwide.
  • Develop practical, high-quality training materials—including instructional videos, e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, and presentation decks—that support and extend live training.
  • Manage end-to-end video and e-learning production—scripting, recording, editing, captioning, and delivery—using tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, Articulate, or Colossyan.
  • Partner with Practice Innovation and Knowledge Management attorneys and Legal Technology Leads to understand program objectives and turn subject-matter expertise into structured, learner-centered content and experiences.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for specific training content requests, such as example prompts, GenAI model feature guides, and curated topic segments; use the team’s Ascend training library and organize materials for internal responses.
  • Draft and distribute internal communications for training programs and AI tool launches, including announcements, intranet posts, and newsletters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Communications, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of training delivery, instructional design, or related experience; law firm or professional services experience a plus.
  • Credible, confident presentation and facilitation skills; ability to command a room, engage diverse audiences, and build trust with attorneys and professional staff in live training.
  • Hands-on proficiency with video production and editing, e-learning authoring, and LMS platforms.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage a content library, track multiple concurrent projects, and fulfill requests accurately and on deadline.
  • Curious, self-motivated approach to learning and applying emerging technologies, including generative AI; ability to learn new tools quickly and adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Compensation and Total Rewards Package

The anticipated pay range for this role is listed below and represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting. In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance. The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

 

Boston: $101,900 - $155,350

New York City: $111,100 - $169,450

Working Conditions

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
